Sheridan Meadows
Sheridan Meadows Child Care is a brand new centre, opened in 2007. It brings with it many years of combined knowledge of education and working with children. Sheridan Meadows' founder has worked tirelessly throughout the Cairns community for over 30 years to develop quality educational facilities and supportive programs for young people.
Quality childcare is a very big deal to parents and Sheridan Meadows Child Care has been created to support families who need child care. At Sheridan Meadows we offer family the comfort of knowing their children are being safely cared for, in a home away from home. Both owners are teachers specialising in early childhood education and training, working with children with disabilities and behaviour management. Both are qualified and experienced counsellors.
Sheridan Meadows has 75 childcare place centre, and is situated in the quiet suburb of White Rock just south of the city of Cairns. The centre has views of the surrounding hills, and fresh breezes flow through most days.
Our rooms are big and airy, with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities for the children with air conditioning for the summer months. Our large and spacious nursery has a quiet nursing mother’s corner for those mothers still feeding their babies. Each room is equiped with toys and activies to suit the age of the children.
